I was sold on this after hearing the tormented screams at the start of Still-Born Eyes - absolutely unreal! I purchased the digital copy, along with the rest of their discography, when I should have purchased this on vinyl - I’d say it would be an amazing aural assault! I might yet buy this again to get some wax 🤔
In short, this is class, come get some already!

Being an alter ego of Sørgelig, I expected greatness from Isolert, fully aware that my expectations would be met. That they would even be surpassed by a mile, I could not foresee. World In Ruins is an - at times - depressive, always raw and unforgiving, screeching and flaying Black Metal beast. I had to listen to it five times in a row to ensure I was not dreaming. Getting deeper into the hellenic BM scene really has been worth it so far. Off to the discography! David Fischer

Greek scene is one of most prolific nowadays in bm and IC a band founded in 2011 came strong with full length number 3.
No space for innovations here but a tribute to second wave of bm especially finnish,
Classic tremolo and malinchonic melody blend with raw and furious riff with an approach conservative but with techniques and a fresh approach.
A superb album fingolfin76

I added this album to my collection after discovering ISOLERT's latest top album "World in Ruins". Released back in 2016 "No Hope, No Light...Only Death" is similar in style, means a well balanced black metal mixture of melodic and harsh elements. In total the album appears more unpolished and not all songs are as virtuosic and catchy as nowadays, but this release is still a recommended addition to the black metal collection for all metalheads who enjoyed "World in Ruins" as much as I did.
